What We've Done

EDS
has worked with a wide variety of clients in many diverse fields.
Our work includes:

Energy Education Programs.
Many programs have been developed for utilities and companies across the country, including a national K-12 energy curriculum for the Energy Source Educational Council. To date, the Energy Source Program has reached more than 12 million students.

Environmental Education Programs.
Our largest endeavor is the national pre-K to middle-school curriculum developed for the Think Earth Foundation. The Think Earth Program is currently taught by more than 60,000 teachers.

Nutrition Education Programs and Materials.
Most of the materials— for children and adults— have been developed for the Dairy Council of California. These materials have helped more than 30 million people improve their food choices.

Water Education Programs.
Materials are usually individualized according to State water issues. An example is the Major Rivers Water Education Program distributed each year by water agencies to 4th grade classrooms throughout Texas.

School-wide Energy Conservation Program.
Energy Savers, developed for Honeywell, Inc., and used nationwide, is a school-wide program in which students, teachers, and other school staff become involved in not only learning about energy but also implementing energy-efficiency measures.

Bilingual Storybooks and Audio Tapes.
Developed for preschool children, the Crazy Cats/Los Gatos Locos series teaches school-readiness skills- numbers, colors, positions— and is used by both parents and classroom teachers.

CD-ROM Applications
For example, energy and water audits of homes and schools that enable users to survey their use of energy and water and generate specific conservation recommendations and procedures.

Evaluation Reports
Including most recently an evaluation of an extensive Life-Skills Program (i.e., education on drugs, tobacco, sex) for a large metropolitan school district.

Videos
Both animated and live-action to accompany education and training materials.

Web Sites
Including one for secondary-school environmental clubs.

Employee Orientation and Training Materials and Kits.

Handbooks, Manuals, Marketing Materials, Newsletters.
