Learning about water is fun with Major Rivers. Games, activities, as well as an informative video presentation are used to help students learn about the important resource of water in their state and to promote good conservation habits. Materials The unit comes with everything needed by the teacher: To Purchase... Many water agencies and river authorities in Texas provide the Major Rivers program free to 4th-grade teachers in their service areas. Teachers in Texas may request the program from their water provider or they may purchase it directly from EDS.
